1. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Based on the TV claymation classic, the story comes to new life in the form of a live musical! It’s playing in New York City in the Theater @ Madison Square Garden December 1st-18th.

2. Westchester Philharmonic’s Winter Pops

Featuring vocalist Ashley Brown and piano soloist Ji, conductor Ted Sperling leads the orchestra in pieces by Bernstein, Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky and more! The performance is December 18th at 3PM, at the Purchase College Performing Arts Center. p.s. I’ll know if you show up or not, because I’m their production coordinator!

3. Charlie Brown Christmas

Another Christmas classic coming from comic strip, to screen to stage! Watch the Peanuts gang discover the true meaning of Christmas in this awesome musical, great for the whole family! Taking place in the NYCB Theatre at Westbury, on December 18th!

4. Metropolitan Music Community’s Winter Winds

In this concert of the season, enjoy pieces by Shostakovich, Ticheli, Whitacre, Holst, and more! Performed by the Grand Street Community Band, and the Brooklyn Wind Symphony! Also our incredible label manager, Allie will be performing in this show!!! December 10th at the Grand St. Campus High School Auditorium.

5. Jingle Ball

Of course, the biggest concert of the holiday season had to be included! This year’s concert series in NYC  includes Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, The Chainsmokers, and Meghan Trainor. Z100’s Jingle Ball 2016 will take place on December 9th at Madison Square Garden.

6. George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker

Enjoy Tchaikovsky’s iconic score, paired with one of the most famous ballets of all time! If you haven’t seen it, this is the year! It will be at Lincoln Center through December 31st.

7. Holiday Inn

Inspired by the oscar-winning film, this broadway musical tells the story of a man who leaves show business to settle down in a farmhouse. The farmhouse soon becomes an inn where guests can enjoy dazzling, festive performances for each holiday. Featuring the music of Irving Berlin! The show is at Studio 54

8. A Christmas Carol

Another true classic, playing December 18th at the Bergen Performing Arts Center. Follow greedy Mr. Scrooge as he travels through his past, present, and future to realize what is truly important in life. Based on Charles Dickens’ novel!

9. The New York Pops

The New York Pops has two shows coming up! Make The Season Bright is on December 16th, and ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas is on December 18th. Both filled with holiday cheer and beautiful festive music, both star-studded, both at Carnegie Hall!

10. Radio City Christmas Spectacular

This wouldn’t be a list of holiday shows in New York without the Radio City Christmas Spectacular! A truly spectacular Christmas medley of song and dance, beautiful sets, costumes, and effects. Starring the Rockettes, of course! Playing at the Radio City Music Hall through January 2nd, 2017.
